Job Title: Biotechnologist I
Location: Portsmouth, NH
As a Biotechnologist I at our Portsmouth site, you will support the production of therapeutic proteins that help improve the lives of patients around the world. You will work as part of a team to operate equipment, follow procedures, and ensure products are manufactured safely and to the highest quality standards. This role is based onsite, where working in person supports collaboration and the precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
This role follows a 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating schedule of alternating days: two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off (repeating cycle).

What you will do
Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including CIP and SIP processes
Execute manufacturing processes by following SOPs and good documentation practices
Perform laboratory tasks such as pH testing, conductivity testing, and product sampling
Move and transfer materials across production areas safely and accurately
Maintain equipment and facilities through routine cleaning and sanitization
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and support documentation review
Participate in shift handovers, meetings, and continuous improvement activities
What we are looking for
High school diploma or equivalent required; AS or BS in a science-related field preferred
Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments; GMP experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to solve problems and make decisions using logic and critical thinking
Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
