The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

Join our Site in Visp as a Material Bioprocess Manager, where you will play a key role in ensuring seamless material availability for bioprocess operations. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across manufacturing and supply chain teams while contributing directly to the efficient production of life-saving therapies.

This is a site‑based role.


This role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

  • Manage all material processes in module L to ensure timely material availability for production activities
  • Proactively align with USP/DSP teams to understand upcoming production needs
  • Collaborate closely with shop floor teams to ensure effective and efficient material use
  • Act as the primary contact for stakeholders on material-related topics, representing the interests of the unit
  • Ensure all activities comply with GMP and quality standards within the assigned work area
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support teams in implementing innovative solutions
  • Represent material management topics during customer audits and site visits

What we are looking for:

  • Degree (BSc or MSc) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of biotechnology processes and basic GMP knowledge
  • Fluent English; German is an advantage
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively across functions
  • Proven leadership mindset with a strong team-oriented approach
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style with high motivation and adaptability
  • Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt) certification and SAP ERP knowledge are a plus
