What you’ll do:

  • Ensure that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on-time and within given safety and quality standards

  • Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area

  • You will be responsible for executing and optimizing downstream purification steps—such as chromatography, virus inactivation, depth filtration, TFF, and filling—to ensure product quality, yield, and compliance with GMP standards.

  • In charge of one or more defined DSP areas (e.g. gain, polishing or filling) for the purification of therapeutic proteins from mammalian (Bioprocess Engineer DSP)

What we are looking for:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor’s holder with experience in pharma production

  • Knowledge in either USP (such as bioreactors) or DSP units (such as chromatography)

  • Couple of years working experience in biomanufacturing required

  • GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology

  • Excellent communication skills in English, good German skills of advantage
