We are seeking a Biomedical Technician for a 3-month contract-to-hire position to support the fit-out and activation of the new Adams Neurosciences Bed Tower. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics or mechanics and a proven track record of meticulous documentation. This role is crucial for the successful onboarding and management of new medical assets. This position has a high potential to convert to a full-time role.
Onboard new medical assets, including tagging, bagging, and inventory management.
Assemble, repair, and perform maintenance on medical equipment by reading schematics and following service manuals.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all work performed.
Utilize Excel for documentation and tracking. Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
Collaborate with the clinical engineering team to ensure all equipment is ready for clinical use.
Proven experience in a role with a strong emphasis on documentation.
electronics or mechanics, with the ability to assemble, disassemble, and repair equipment.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for documentation and inventory tracking.
Experience with ServiceNow is beneficial but not required.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
The technician will work in an active construction zone for the initial months of the contract.
Adherence to safety protocols is mandatory, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats.

This is a Contract position based out of New Haven, CT.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
