Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I for UH Elyria Medical Center located in Elyria, OH. Sodexo’s growing Healthcare Technology Management Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service as a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to support Healthcare Technology services.

What You'll Do

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment functionality and patient safety.

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance testing.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment issues and deliver excellent customer support.

  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to healthcare technology management.

  • Assist in the installation and calibration of new equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified
