Conducts initial acceptance testing for hospital equipment, ensuring compliance with various industry standards such as Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), UL, and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), responds to maintenance requests hospital-wide, oversees equipment maintenance policy compliance, conducts training sessions for designated users, assists in new equipment purchases and tracking deliveries, implements best practices for safety and preventative maintenance, collaborates with Technicians and Senior Engineers for efficiency and safety, recommends necessary resources, participates in ongoing education, providing constructive feedback to peers, and contributes to service planning and expansion initiatives.
