
We are looking to add to our team a person with knowledge of fermentation and biodegradability.
What will your day-to-day work involve?
Advising external and internal clients in the field of biotechnology.
Preparing and carrying out R&D&I projects.
Preparing reports.
Visits and meetings with clients.
Participating in outreach sessions and national and international events.
Participating in training activities.
Preparing project proposals.
Strong analytical skills, organization, planning, initiative, creativity, leadership, flexibility, adaptability to change, customer orientation, teamwork, and a people-focused mindset — cooperation and empathy — are qualities we seek in every position at AIMPLAS.
Required education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, or related fields.
Additional education:
A specific Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biology, or a similar field will be valued.
Solid knowledge of:
Organic waste valorization
Fermentation
Ecotoxicity
Biodegradation
Microbial modelling
Skills:
Demonstrable high level of English and intermediate level of Spanish
Use of bioinformatics tools and specialized software
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Autonomy and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Desirable experience:
Experience in R&D&I projects in biotechnology environments
Experience in organic waste valorization
Other:
Availability for occasional travel
B1 driving licence
