The Bioanalytical Associate / Project ScientistMolecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) is a full-time position working in our Corporate Headquarters in Lincoln, NE, just south of downtown. We are only considering candidates who are currently living in the Lincoln, NE, area.

As a Bioanalytical Associate / Project Scientist, you will provide scientific review and oversight of bioanalytical projects with all levels of complexity and with some supervision and peer review. You will support associates in production and validation teams, provide guidance and technical training, problem-solving, and bioanalytical study management.

Essential Functions

  • Work with Method Development personnel during the development of a project to ensure method suitably
  • Work with MCB staff from Lincoln and Pheonix to provide consistency of training and expectations.
  • Responsible for connecting validation protocols with production.
  • Identify issues with assay performance and work with appropriate personnel to resolve and/or troubleshoot
  • Perform, review and approve data analysis to support timelines.
  • Mentor and train bioanalytical analysts in all aspects of production and validation support.
  • Ensure all QC/QA findings are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and problem-solve with BPI and management for at-risk projects (not meeting timelines, resources, etc.).
  • Ability to connect laboratory events to actionable outcomes, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive attitude while fostering strong team collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a science-related field with 4 years of analytical experience preferred OR Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field with 2 years of analytical experience preferred.
  • 3-6 years of Celerion bench experience preferred
  • 3 or more years of previous laboratory and/or GLP knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Excellent oral and written skills
