Job Description
Join a biotechnology manufacturing team supporting daily process operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This junior-level position will operate assigned control systems and processes, prepare process buffers and reagents, clean equipment, maintain manufacturing areas, document activities, monitor processes, and follow detailed SOPs and batch records.
The position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and the ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
Position details:
- Hourly rate: $25.70–$30.70;
- Contract length: 6 months with possible extension;
- Location: Devens, MA;
- Work arrangement: 100% onsite;
- Shift: 1st shift, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM;
- Schedule: Rotating two-week schedule (3 days on (Sat, Sun, Mon), 2 days off (Tues, Wed), 2 days on (Thurs, Fri), 3 days off (Sat to Mon).
- Maximum hours: 40 hours per week;
- W-2 contract position;
- No C2C options;
- No visa sponsorship.
Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- At least 1–2 years of process operations experience;
- Prior job-related experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude;
- Experience following and documenting written instructions;
- Ability to follow detailed SOPs and batch records;
- Ability to maintain compliance with cGMP and safety requirements;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based culture;
- Ability to work the required rotating shift and overtime when required;
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- A.A.S. or B.S. degree;
- Familiarity with general chemistry and mathematics;
- Familiarity with microbiology;
- Familiarity with cGMP cleanroom operations.
