Responsible to assist wherever needed in the Bindery Department. This job is 4 days a week, 10 hours a day with mandatory overtime on Fridays as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Print, read, and understand Bindery Department policies, procedures, and job tickets.
Apply verbal instructions from supervisors, leads, and machine operators and incorporate those to job tasks.
Requires basic trouble shooting skills.
Achieve department production rates.
Perform routine quality checks and document results to ensure consistency.
Work well in a team environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to use basic math and measuring skills.
Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
Standing on a regular basis for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
Lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
Frequent lifting (light to moderate weights) and bending.
Communicate effectively with others inside and outside the organization.
Ability to work overtime and weekend schedules.
