Job Title: BIM Tutor - Building Information Modelling

Working Model: Home-based with Travel
Location: South Africa

Our BSI Training portfolio has seen impressive growth over the last few years, and as we continue to grow and diversify, we are looking for talented, creative, and client-focused individuals to join our team of Tutors.

About The Role

As a BIM Tutor, you will work closely with numerous industry sectors, helping organisations and individuals to improve their performance. Using accelerated learning techniques and proven online delivery approaches, you will provide structured training solutions delivered in both face-to-face and virtual classroom environments.

You'll be home-based, but there will be a requirement to travel extensively across South Africa which often means spending several days away from home.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Deliver BSI training courses in a manner that ensures that value is added to customers and their business/organisation.

• Inform and update customers of BSI services to ensure their needs are met during training sessions.

• Provide delegates with information on how the training is aligned to the overall customer journey with BSI to raise customer awareness.

• Deliver excellent training courses/solutions and day-to-day interactions with customers and other key stakeholders to continually enhance the reputation and perception of BSI.

• Provide feedback to support course development in line with the new course and existing product development process.

• Aid with the design of training solutions (E.g. classroom, electronic, correspondence, mentoring, coaching) to improve the quality and range of the training offered.

• Maintain and enhance appropriate professional qualification status in relevant disciplines to keep up to date in own area of expertise.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Strong technical knowledge of the ISO 19650 series with practical experience preferred.

• In-depth understanding of Building Information Modelling processes, associated standards, and all relevant laws and regulations.

• Knowledge of the construction/built environment and experience in delivery or asset management phases.

• Effective trainer with an understanding of learning principles and proven success delivering sessions in person, online, or a combination of the two

• Strong design thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
