Job Description

Our client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor, is seeking a BIM Technician to join their team based in South Dublin, supporting the delivery of various construction projects across commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors. This office-based role offers exposure to high-profile developments and the opportunity to work within a collaborative and technically advanced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in model coordination, clash detection, and supporting project teams with accurate digital construction data. To be successful, the preferred candidate will have strong BIM experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple project phases.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage BIM models for construction projects using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure model accuracy.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues across disciplines.
• Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation from BIM models.
• Maintain and implement BIM standards and workflows across projects.
• Support project teams with technical BIM input during design and construction phases.
• Assist in the integration of survey data and site information into BIM workflows.
• Provide training and support to junior technicians and site teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes and digital delivery.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a BIM Technician role within the construction industry.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and technical coordination.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
