YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The BIM Modeler III is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. This is a leader of the production team, and typically the Model Manager, that is responsible for all functions of a BIM project including the drawings, model quality, and coordination files for the project. Will need to efficiently take part in and supervise modeling and documentation of the project. This role is responsible for their own production as well as the support and task-based training of other staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler II
  • WorkwithFamilyDevelopmentTeamfortherevisedstandardsorforaproject’s needs
  • Lead and supervise the modeling and documentation of projects.
  • Provide effective verbal and written direction to support staff.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects including project models, advising on resource needs, progress, and potential impacts on scope/schedule/budget.
  • Create and maintain ElectricalRevitmodelusingbackgroundsfromother trades following all REI standards
  • Workwith a diverse team across multiple departments and disciplines
  • Supervisethelayoutandinputofmarked‐updrawingsintoRevitinaccordancewithREI Standards
  • Acknowledgementofany/allREIconfidentiallyand/ornon-Disclosurerequirementspursuanttothisposition.Theprotectionof Proprietary or Company Intellectual Property

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Associatedegreeor Bachelor’s degree in Computerized Drafting, Architectural Design or related discipline with a minimum of 1 year in Revit

  • Minimum5years’totalexperiencewithknowledgeofelectricalsymbolsandelectricaldrafting conventions and standards

  • Canbeacombinationofeducation,training,andrelevant experience

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Effective performance management

  • AdvancedknowledgeofRevit,with the ability to create and manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar

  • Giveverbalandgeneralwrittendirectionwellandturnthatdirectionintoappropriate,constructabledesign documents

  • CompleteunderstandingofREIBIMprocesses , procedures, and standardsincludingworkflow processes

  • Fluencyinreading2Dplans,electronicallyorhard copy, including one-lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules

  • Type,proofread,spellcheckworkwithout supervision

  • UnderstandingofRevitworksharing process and method

  • SkillsobtainedbeyondthebuildingelementswouldbesettingupRevitmodels,leadingmodelteamsinmodeling,annotating, project scheduling, assigning workload and meeting deadline

  • ProficientinusingacomputerandMicrosoftOffice(Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.)

  • Prioritizeandmanagemultipletasks,changingprioritiesas necessary

  • Workunderpressureandadapttochangingrequirementswithapositive attitude

  • Strong, solutions-oriented oral and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player

  • Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WORKINGCONDITIONS:

  • Generalworkenvironment-sittingforextended periods, standing,walking,typing,carrying,pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

  • Noiselevelistypically lowtomedium;it canbeloudonajob site.

  • Occasionalliftingofupto30lbs.

Pay Range

$43.90-$58.00 Hourly

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
