The opportunity
We’re looking for a BIM Modeler – Mechanical Building Systems to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality building projects. In this role, you’ll develop, coordinate, and maintain mechanical BIM models for new construction, interior renovations, and building retrofits. Working closely with engineers, CAD technicians, and multidisciplinary teams across all phases of design and construction. Your daily impact
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, and related systems) using Revit
• Translate engineering concepts, sketches, and calculations into accurate, coordinated BIM models and construction documents
• Support BIM coordination and clash detection with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines
• Implement project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), firm standards, and modeling best practices
• Assist in the production of drawings, schedules, and quantities extracted from BIM models
• Incorporate site survey information, field conditions, and as-built data into models
• Manage model updates and revisions through all project phases
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve design and coordination issues efficiently

Your profile
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Engineering, or a related field
• 3–7 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling within the building systems industry
• Strong proficiency in Revit (Mechanical); AutoCAD experience is an asset
• Working knowledge of mechanical building systems and basic understanding of applicable codes and standards
• Familiarity with Office 365 and common project collaboration platforms
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design intent
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.

Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, scope of the role and geographic location.
