The BIM Manager and Digital Engineering Lead will lead Building Information Modelling and digital engineering activities for the Electrical and Mechanical systems scope of a major railway project in Vietnam. Based onshore in Vietnam, you will ensure that systems are digitally coordinated, compliant with relevant BIM standards, and accurately represented through design, construction, and final handover.

You will:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the BIM Execution Plan for the Electrical and Mechanical systems scope in accordance with ISO 19650, project requirements, and Siemens Mobility BIM standards
  • Manage digital workflows and the Common Data Environment, ensuring effective data exchange, naming conventions, document control, and version management
  • Coordinate and federate Electrical and Mechanical models, ensuring effective integration with civil infrastructure models provided by project partners
  • Lead interdisciplinary BIM coordination and clash-detection activities, working with engineering and delivery teams to resolve design conflicts
  • Coordinate BIM deliverables across detailed design, final design, construction, and project handover
  • Oversee the validation and management of asset information required for project and customer handover
  • Lead BIM quality reviews, technical interference checks, completeness audits, and three-dimensional design reviews
  • Provide technical guidance, presentations, and training to onshore project teams, supporting the effective adoption of BIM processes and tools

Your qualifications and skills to create a better tomorrow

  • University degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline, together with a specialised BIM qualification
  • At least five years of experience working on major infrastructure, railway, or metro projects
  • Demonstrated experience as a BIM Lead or BIM Manager within a design and build project environment
  • Experience coordinating Electrical and Mechanical systems within a BIM-led project
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM processes within major rail or infrastructure projects
  • Advanced proficiency with Autodesk and Bentley products, with experience using collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, or Revizto
  • Ability to work with ArcGIS data within a BIM environment
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to drive digital adoption and connect technical requirements with project delivery objectives
  • Analytical and solution-oriented approach to resolving interdisciplinary design and coordination challenges
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical matters to project stakeholders and leadership
