Looking for a role where you can take ownership of BIM coordination in large-scale construction projects? We are now looking for a BIM Coordinator to join Granlund!

Would you be our new BIM Coordinator?

As a BIM Coordinator, you will take responsibility for the technical coordination and quality assurance of BIM models across a variety of construction projects, including data center, commercial, and residential developments. Acting as the project's BIM expert, you will ensure that models meet project requirements and support smooth collaboration between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities include coordinating BIM activities, leading model review meetings, and ensuring the technical quality of BIM models throughout different project phases. You will also support designers and project teams with BIM-related questions and help ensure that project requirements are met consistently across all disciplines.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, who is primarily involved during the early phases of the project. As the project progresses, you will take primary responsibility for its technical responsibilities. You will typically work on several projects simultaneously, supporting Project Managers, designers, contractors, and clients throughout different project phases while acting as a key link between stakeholders.

The position is a full-time and permanent role, and you will be employed directly by Granlund. The role offers a highly flexible working model with the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in Finland. You may also work from any Granlund office according to your own preference. Occasional travel to project sites across Finland is expected as part of the role.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a BIM professional who can work independently and confidently guide projects through BIM-related matters. You have at least two years of experience in BIM coordination and understand how construction projects progress from design through execution. Experience in commercial construction projects is particularly valuable, while experience in data center projects is considered an advantage.

A relevant educational background in construction or engineering is required. Strong Solibri expertise is essential for success in this role, while experience with Navisworks and Revit is a plus. BIM Coordinator certification is an advantage, but not required. Most importantly, you understand BIM processes and can ensure the technical quality of project models. You communicate fluently in both Finnish and English.

As a person, you are proactive, analytical, and comfortable taking responsibility for your work. You are able to work independently when needed, but also collaborate effectively with others. You have the confidence to raise issues, challenge assumptions, and communicate openly when challenges arise.

The monthly salary for this position is approximately 4000 euros, depending on the candidate's experience and skills.
