Objective
Under limited supervision the Data Support Specialist will be responsible for data management, analytics and auditing.

Essential Job Functions

  • Administrative support for offshore team includes:

    1. - Manage team escalations on process flows or access

      1. - Conduct all tasks while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

        1. - Creates a charge entry sheet for items that can’t be billed out of Optum A-life

        2. - Pulls data direct for Shadow Data, DD Data, CEDR (FigMD)

        3. - Pull daily logs for assigned clients

        4. - Maintains spreadsheet in the Facility Access tracking all the access to each hospital health system

        5. - Provides training/support for hospital system navigation to all Omega employees

        6. - Works weekly Missing Transcription Module (MT) and works weekly Orphan Transcription Module (OT)

        7. - Tracks account totals of what was coded for invoices

        8. - Works Fatal Errors from ALIFE, Medimobile, Ingenious

        9. - Communicates to providers on behalf of offshore team

  • Billing workflow audits include:

    1. - Quality control over India Data Support for missing transcription, orphaned transcription, clean up lists, items the team sends for escalation

      1. - Reviews export sheets for accuracy

      2. - Telehealth clean up if needed

      3. - Works fatal errors for validation

      4. - Tracks clean up lists for client reconciliation and works with coders to get charges billed

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work.

Required Education and Experience

  • Proficient computer skills and experience navigating Ingenious Med, Centura Epic and Reventics Epic

  • High School diploma or equivalent, additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.

  • Proven RCM experience and understanding of claim processing.
