Billing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance / Billing Specialist to support and manage end-to-end billing operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with numbers (without crying over spreadsheets), and can ensure accuracy across financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  Manage day-to-day billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
• 
  Handle insurance billing processes, including submissions, follow-ups, and reconciliations
• 
  Maintain accurate financial records and billing data
• 
  Track payments, resolve discrepancies, and manage outstanding accounts
• 
  Collaborate with internal teams to ensure billing alignment and issue resolution
• 
  Prepare basic financial reports and assist with tracking revenue and cash flow
• 
  Ensure compliance with relevant billing procedures and financial regulations

Requirements:

• 
  Proven experience in billing, finance, or accounts receivable
• 
  Strong understanding of invoicing, financial tracking, and reconciliation processes
• 
  Experience with insurance billing (highly advantageous)
• 
  High attention to detail and accuracy
• 
  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• 
  Comfortable working remotely and independently
• 
  Availability to work U.S. hours

Role Structure:

• 
  Starting at approximately 20 hours per week
• 
  Expected to scale to full-time (40 hours per week) based on performance and business needs
