The Billing Specialist I plays a critical role in supporting SkySwitch Partners by managing billing inquiries, resolving invoice discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely billing operations. This role works closely with billing, onboarding, and support teams to support smooth monthly bill runs and positive partner experiences. It is a hands-on operational position ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and partner communications while building a long-term career within a global telecom organization.

Work Locations:

This position will be hybrid based out of our office in Bacolod City, Philippines. We are typically in the office 3 days per week with WFH the other 2 days. This is subject to change based on the demands of the position and company. This position must live and be authorized to work in the Philippines; it is not eligible for relocation or sponsorship.

Hours:

Night Shift - 9 pm to 6 am local. (9am to 6pm Eastern US business hours.)

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for SkySwitch Partners regarding billing inquiries via tickets, email, and calls.
  • Resolve billing tickets across Billing and SkySwitch Stores using tools such as Autotask, ASANA, and Slack.
  • Support monthly SkySwitch bill runs including generating export files, processing manual billing tasks, and validating charges.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, credits, refunds, and payment issues in coordination with internal teams.
  • Support accounts receivable processes including auto debit and manual payment processing.
  • Monitor telco and prepaid balances and notify partners of critical thresholds.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and documentation in billing systems and SharePoint.
  • Assist with billing reports and financial documentation for management review.
  • Participate in weekly billing meetings and collaborate with Account Management, Support, Revenue, Sales, and Compliance teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and support best practice development.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years of experience in the telecom industry, preferably in billing or billing support.
  • Fundamental knowledge of telecom billing and reconciliation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with billing data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
  • High level of computer literacy including MS Office and business communication tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including basic functions, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
