Communicates with customers to provide support and information on accounts receivable issues and records in the MSC systems the customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Replies to customers’ questions regarding the payments they made and makes corrections in the MSC systems if necessary.
Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
Collaborates with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
Maintains and updates customer files.
Presence required on‑site 5 days per week
Performs other duties as required.
This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role (supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.) English: advanced Attention to detail: Must have Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsiveAbility to work under tight deadlines Great team player Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time Must be able to commute to the designated office location Presence required on‑site 5 days per week
