Responsibilities
• Ensuretimelyandaccuratesubmission of medical and NCPDP claims to maximize reimbursement
• Research and resolve claim rejections by finding root causes andtaking action
• Review billing trends to reduce errors and improve performance
• Keep patient and insurance information current to support clean claims
• Work with payors, patients, and internal teams to resolve billing issues
• Support home infusion and nursing billing with strong quality and accuracy
• Meet productivity and quality goals set by leadership
• Share ideas and support process improvements
Qualifications
Required
• 1+ years of experience in medical billing, collections, or related role
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of insurance billing and reimbursement processes
•Strong communicationskills across phone, written, and digital channels
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Basic math skills for calculations
•Proficiencyin Microsoft 365
• Ability to work independently and on a team
Preferred
• Experience with home infusion or specialty pharmacy billing
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT-4, HCPCS, and medical terms
• Medicare billing knowledge, including DMEMAC
• Experience with CPR+ or HCN 360 systems
• Healthcare administrative or record management experience
• Strong customer service skills with a patient focus

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17.75 - 26 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
