Billing Specialist - Control Tower Support

At DSV Control Tower, we manage transportation solutions for some of our largest international customers. We ensure that complex transport flows operate efficiently and support customers, colleagues, and the business through specialized support functions. This role offers the opportunity to build specialist expertise while working in an international environment.

This is a specialist role where a part of the work consists of recurring operational tasks that ensure accurate billing foundations. You will be responsible for maintaining rates, surcharges, customer agreements, and settlement frameworks, while also contributing to process improvements and future system developments.

As part of our ongoing transformation, we are implementing Kinaxis, a new system that will support our future ways of working. While experience with the system is not required, curiosity, structure, and a willingness to learn are important qualities for success.

The Team Behind Accurate Billing

You will become part of CT Support and work closely with our specialized Billing Team.

Our responsibility is not the daily invoicing itself, but ensuring that rates, surcharges, settlement terms, and customer agreements are correctly configured, maintained, and quality assured so that invoicing can be completed accurately and efficiently.

The position is based in our Polish organization. You will be part of the local DSV environment while working closely with the Billing Team in Denmark. Your onboarding, training, and professional development will be supported by experienced international colleagues and English will be used in daily cooperation.

Your Responsibilities

• Handling daily operational tasks related to rates, surcharges, customer agreements, and billing configurations.
• Quality assurance and maintenance of transportation rates.
• Ensuring correct rate structures and settlement frameworks.
• Advising on rate structures and configuration options for both new and existing customers.
• Developing solutions for customer-specific settlement requirements, including self-billing, consolidated rating, conversion rules, and other customized billing setups.
• Configuring, testing, and validating rates and surcharges to ensure accurate billing foundations.
• Providing support and guidance to colleagues regarding customer setups and billing logic.
• Configuring and maintaining automated invoicing solutions.
• Building knowledge of customer setups, system configurations, and billing processes through hands-on experience and collaboration with experienced colleagues.

Who Are You?

• Experience from transportation and logistics, preferably within Road Logistics.
• Familiar working with rates, customer setups, settlement processes or customer agreements.
• Strong systems understanding and good Excel skills.
• Good command of both Polish and English, written and spoken. Polish will be required for local cooperation, while English will be used daily with colleagues and stakeholders across countries.
• Analytical, structured, and detail oriented.
• Motivated by learning and continuous improvement.
• Able to take ownership and work independently while contributing to team success.

Experience with CargoLink or Kinaxis is an advantage but not a requirement.
