Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support accurate and timely billing processes. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining records, reconciling accounts, creating invoices, and communicating effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Experience with project-based billing, especially in services or construction environments, is highly valued.


Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Billing for large-scale projects and miscellaneous items on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Review vendor invoices to ensure accuracy in billing
  • Analyze internal labor reporting for discrepancies
  • Review employee expense reports for reasonableness and inclusion in customer billing
  • Assist in maintaining organized and accurate billing records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support project billing needs
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with project billing in services or construction environments preferred
  • Microsoft Great Plains experience is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field preferred
  • Solid understanding of billing and invoicing processes, particularly in project-based environments
