
The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing the billing process which includes understanding the customer contract and associated billing requirements, generating invoices, maintaining trackers, performing variance analysis reviews, and regularly reviewing the Accounts Receivable aging for customer payment follow up.
Compensation: $26-$28/hr
· Prepares invoices for all services provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of contracts.
· Compiles all information required to support the preparation and submission of monthly invoices for each contract.
· Research and resolve client billing questions.
· Prepares year-end invoices reflecting differences for each contract containing billings for additional services provided which reflect final price modifications.
· Prepares fiscal and contract year-end financial reports for all contract locations
· Prepares/reviews reports to help manage unbilled charges
· Completes reconciliations with variance explanations on a regular basis.
· Perform other related duties as assigned including assisting with the NYS CFR.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience of billing and invoice processing or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
