We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Operations Specialist to join one of our U.S. clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring invoice accuracy, supporting payment reconciliation activities, resolving billing inquiries, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations, possesses strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced remote environment. This position requires a proactive problem solver who can collaborate effectively across Finance, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor billing transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual agreements.
• Reconcile billing records, payments, credits, and adjustments.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, customer inquiries, and invoice-related issues.
• Maintain customer billing information and ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Support month-end and quarter-end billing close activities.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to improve billing workflows and efficiencies.
• Prepare billing reports and provide insights on trends, exceptions, and outstanding balances.
• Assist with collections activities by working closely with Accounts Receivable teams.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to billing automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial procedures.
• Document billing procedures and maintain accurate operational records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 1+ years of experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, finance operations, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems, billing platforms, or accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
