Job Description

About the Role & Hiring Manager:

Hi I’m Tanya Cohen, Sr. Director of Finance at Coro. I joined Coro nearly four years ago because of the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company with a strong drive for success. I’ve stayed because of the amazing people and the chance to help shape a changing environment, building and evolving financial systems from the ground up as the company continues to scale.

My leadership style isdirect yet supportive, and I value open communication, accountability, independence, loyalty, strong problem-solving skills, creativity, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.

This role is important to our team and to Coro because it is critical to ensuring accurate, scalable, and compliant billing across subscription (license-based) and usage/consumption-based models. You’ll play a key role in owning and leading our end-to-end global billing operations, including the design and implementation of NetSuite SuiteBilling.

Requirements

  • Hands-on NetSuite SuiteBilling experience, including billing system implementation, configuration, and go-live optimization.
  • Proven background working with complex SaaS pricing structures (licenses, tiers, overages), high invoice volumes, and frequent contract changes.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex files and reports to support billing-related reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Deep understanding of revenue, finance, and reporting, specifically supporting revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and monthly close activities.
  • Manage a team of billing specialists located globally.
  • Experience with Zuora Billing is a strong advantage.
  • Collaborating and managing teams globally in EMEA and North America.

About the Role

You’ll Be Excited About This Role If…

  • You enjoy translating complex commercial terms into scalable and automated billing logic.
  • You like working in a fast-paced environment where your ideas on system enhancements and integrations are valued.
  • You’re motivated by impact and seeing your work contribute to company success by minimizing revenue leakage.
  • You take ownership of end-to-end global billing operations, from renewals and amendments to true-ups.
  • You believe in doing great work while supporting others, such as partnering closely with Accounting and FP&A.
  • You like being in a leadership role where you can help your team grow and learn.
  • Thrive in a startup environment but also have a strong sense of process centric thinking.

This Role Probably Isn’t Right for You If…

  • You prefer rigid structure or processes over flexibility and the ability to manage frequent mid-term contract changes.
  • You’re uncomfortable with ambiguity or shifting priorities in a multi-product, multi-currency environment.
  • You’d rather work independently all the time instead of collaborating across Accounting, FP&A, and Finance teams.
  • You don’t enjoy thinking creatively to solve problems or improve complex billing and collection processes.

What to Expect in Your First 90 Days

First 30 days: Rapidly ramp up on the Coro platform, billing architecture, and existing collections workflows. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Finance, Product, and Engineering, while diving deep into the new system implementation and actively participating in the design and decision-making process.

By 60 days: Take full ownership of core billing and collections responsibilities. Lead the design and configuration of the new system, drive process improvements, and begin delivering tangible gains in accuracy, efficiency, and visibility. Act as a key contributor to cross-functional execution.

By 90 days: Operate independently as the owner of billing and collections. Successfully drive the implementation forward, deliver measurable business impact, and partner cross-functionally to scale processes that support Coro’s rapid growth.
