The Billing Executive is responsible to process and review requests for bill adjustments and waivers, handling internal billing enquiries, and providing effective support to business units. This position is require to manage day‑to‑day billing operations and administrative tasks, reviewing system‑generated daily reports, and following up on required actions. This position also supports the manager in preparing monthly bill adjustment reports and statistics through data gathering and analysis, while continuously reviewing and recommending improvements to operational procedures. The incumbent is expected to be able to work independently and manage adjustment cases within tight timelines, including during peak periods.

Make an Impact by:

  • Understanding the financial guidelines in-depth to review and process adjustment cases and seek clarification from the requestor if details provided in cases are unclear or have missing information.
  • Verifying, reviewing and checking daily reports generated by system, and complete follow up action if necessary.
  • Ensuring all the HQ cases that are routed to the assigned sector that you oversee, are processed, and completed timely within the KPI.
  • Handling enquiries from Generic Mailbox, be able to handle internal billing enquiry relating to adjustment or waiver of bill charges and provide excellent support to business units and requestors.
  • Prepare monthly reports and statistic for Bill Adjustment. Gather data related to bill adjustments/waivers. Analyse the data and prepare monthly updates and statistic for billing accuracy.
  • Reviewing current processes & participate in contributing ideas / suggestions for improvement.
  • Ensuring documentation on operation processes & procedures are properly updated, maintained and available for use.
  • Ensuring proper housekeeping of documents for reference and audit purposes
  • Supporting digital transformation by applying tools such as RPA, Power Automate, Python, Macro, etc to improve process quality and execution, increase operational efficiency with greater accuracy, as well as improve customer experience.
  • Working independently and process adjustment request cases within tight schedules, including peak period.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the manager.

Skills for Success:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ IT/ Business or equivalent.
  • Preferrably at least 1 year experience in billing environment.
  • Hands on experience using SAP would be highly advantageous.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (eg command on Vlookup / Pivot Tables) and Microsoft Office,
  • Strong analytical skills, eye for detail and meticulous.
  • Possess effective communication skills to deal with stakeholders.
  • High degree of flexibility and the ability to manage and lead change.
  • Proactive, initiative and accountable individual.
  • Able to write and communicate clearly in English.

Good to Have:

  • Working experience in processing bills and credits notes.
  • Knowledge of BCC and BCC-R2 (ECOM) adjustment processing, checking orders and understanding customer bills.
