Telecommuting
This job allows part-time telecommuting/remote work but will be required to be onsite for training and periodically for meetings. Must be able to travel to Evansville, IN.
This position is responsible for facilitating follow-up denials from insurance for Patient Financial Services. This position is a team leader for all denials in their respective area and facilitates the training, auditing, and overseeing of the daily operations related to denials. Will work with third party payors to obtain payment on delinquent accounts according to the legal and proper collection techniques as well as maintain accounts receivable goals developed by the department.
Education and Experience
Completion of High School or GED required. Knowledge of health care billing and collection preferred. Understanding of debits and credits a plus.
