We are looking for a talented Billing and Collection Specialist for our growing Finance team, who would take an active part in working with our customers and internal teams.

Position type: 60% part-time (5 days per week), hybrid model.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial transactions in accordance with internal finance guidelines and approval procedures.
  • Handle daily invoicing activities, including validation, issuance, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
  • Take full ownership of customer billing inquiries from initial contact through final resolution, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.
  • Maintain professional and empathetic communication with customers while understanding their business priorities.
  • Examine sales agreements, purchase orders, and related documentation to confirm billing accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and Customer Support to address and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Manage internal update requests including customer address modifications, billing profile adjustments, pricing updates, service cancellations or reactivations, and recurring charge setups.
  • Conduct collection efforts, support special billing arrangements, reconcile account discrepancies, and provide required financial documentation to customers when needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in billing, collections, or a related finance role- an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline- an advantage.
  • Previous experience working in a SaaS company or within a high-tech industry environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work toward performance targets.
  • High level of English proficiency, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Foundational knowledge of financial analysis, revenue recognition practices, and general accounting principles.
