As a Bilingual Technical Integration Consultant for Philips Diagnostic Cardiology Solutions (DCS), you’ll partner with healthcare customers across Canada to connect enterprise solutions using HL7, DICOM, and interoperability technologies, helping enable seamless cardiac workflows and better care.

Your role:

  • Lead end-to-end technical implementations of Philips Diagnostic Cardiology Solutions (DCS), including IntelliSpace electrocardiography (IECG) and IntelliBridge Enterprise (IBE), from requirements gathering and environment readiness through configuration, testing, validation, go-live, customer acceptance, and transition to support.
  • Serve as technical lead and trusted advisor, gathering network, server, security, workflow, and interface requirements; translating customer needs into scalable solutions; and guiding hospital IT, clinical, and operational stakeholders through technical decisions.
  • Configure, test, validate, and optimize integrations between ECG management solutions and electronic medical record (EMR), hospital information systems (HIS), radiology information system (RIS), cardiology, and device environments, including HL7 workflows for admission/discharge/transfer (ADT), orders, scheduling, results, and billing, as well as DICOM Modality Worklist and other DICOM-based data exchange.
  • Troubleshoot complex implementation issues involving HL7 and DICOM message flow, structured query language (SQL), databases, virtual servers, networking, connectivity, system configuration, data integrity, and performance; perform root-cause analysis and drive sustainable resolution.
  • Partner with customer IT and clinical teams, project managers, interface vendors, Sales, Service, and product organizations to deliver successful implementations; maintain documentation, share technical expertise, and improve deployment methods, tools, and best practices.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, software implementation, systems integration, technical consulting, or a related technical environment. Experience supporting hospital or clinical IT environments is required; experience with diagnostic cardiology, ECG information management systems, cardiology informatics, enterprise imaging, radiology, or enterprise healthcare solutions is highly preferred.
  • Your skills include hands-on experience with HL7 integration, DICOM or DICOM Gateway workflows, SQL, interface testing, EMR/HIS connectivity, networking, server architecture, technical troubleshooting, and customer-facing implementation delivery.
  • Experience with interface engines such as Orion Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Mirth Connect, or Corepoint; XML; Microsoft Windows Server; SQL Server; and VMware or other virtual machine environments is preferred. Microsoft, HL7, DICOM, networking, or virtualization certifications are highly desirable.
  • Bilingual French and English skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, healthcare informatics, information technology, biomedical engineering, or other related field of study or equivalent combination of education and above listed experience.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. You must be able to:
  • Travel for business. Limited national travel may be required for customer needs, project milestones, or new product launches.
  • Work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment; adhere to requirements and comply with vendor credentialing; wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • You’re a customer-focused technical professional who can translate complex interoperability concepts into clear solutions, communicate effectively with technical and clinical stakeholders, manage multiple projects and priorities, and deliver reliable implementation outcomes in complex healthcare environments.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role.
