REQUIREMENTS:
-Bilingual in English & Spanish
-Bachelor's Degree in the field of education or related filed; or
-Minimum of high school diploma plus one year experience working with children in an educational setting
-Experience in a bilingual educational setting preferred.

Under the general direction of the Lead Teacher, the Teacher Aide assists the Teacher with the planning and implementation of educational and vocational services provided to UAC. The Teacher Aide provides support and assistance to Teachers in a manner that promotes best practices and facilities the optimum delivery of quality trauma informed care to UAC. The Teacher Aide facilitates instruction in accordance with approved lesson plans appropriate for students with a variety of academic competencies, backgrounds, skills, and learning needs.
