Athena Mental Health is a New York State mental health-approved provider of community mental health services for children, adults, and families with behavioral and emotional challenges. We specialize in individual and group psychotherapy for clients with a focus on trauma-informed care. Are You a Good Fit For Us?

As an Intake Clinician, you will be responsible for excelling in the ability to lead, mentor, communicate, and supervise other clinicians in both the assessment and treatment planning for patients, contributing to the clinic’s client-centered care model. You will conduct intake sessions for potential Athena clients.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Requires NYS licensure as a mental health practitioner (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT ).
• At least two years of clinical experience is preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• OMH (Article 31) experience preferred.
