19.70 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

San Jose: South San Jose Center (In-person position)

Working Hours/Shift:

Part-Time, 24 hours per week

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications)

Education:

  • Enrolled in a practicum course at an accredited MA, MS, MSW program.

Licensing:

  • Valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

Under direct supervision by the Clinical Supervisor, this Practicum Student has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information

Division/Program Overview:

  • Works with clients ages 5-18 from Evergreen School District & East Side Union High School District
  • Mainly school-based services; home, community and telehealth available as well wide variety of mental health issues addressed
  • Individual, family, and group therapy
