Job Description

Velaz Solar & Roofing is a leading provider of residential solar, roofing, and storm restoration services, committed to delivering sustainable, cost-effective clean energy solutions and high-quality home improvements. As we continue to grow and drive the clean energy transition in the Dominican Republic, we are seeking a dedicated Recruiter to join our team in Santo Domingo.

This role is pivotal to our expansion, ensuring we attract and onboard top talent to support our sales and operations teams. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the entire candidate lifecycle, from outreach to onboarding, and will play a key role in shaping our workforce and culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via phone, text, and social media to source candidates
  • Screen applicants and coordinate interviews with sales leadership and hiring managers
  • Manage candidate pipelines using ATS/CRM systems and report weekly hiring metrics
  • Support onboarding and the first-week ramp for new hires
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process

This is a full-time, on-site position with a work schedule of Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Join Velaz Solar & Roofing and help us build a talented team dedicated to advancing clean energy solutions and exceptional home improvement services.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience conducting high-volume outbound outreach via phone and text
  • Good spoken English proficiency for conducting calls
  • Authorized to work in the Dominican Republic
  • Available to work Tuesday–Saturday
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with hiring managers or sales leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience sourcing candidates using outbound channels (calls, texts, and social media)
  • Experience screening candidates and coordinating interviews
  • Experience supporting onboarding for new hires
  • Working knowledge of Workable (ATS) or similar applicant tracking systems
  • Working knowledge of a CRM for managing candidate pipelines
