
Bilingual Psychometrist - Per Diem
Position SummaryThe Neuropsychology Service at Stony Brook Medicine is a very busy practice. We see patients, ranging in age from 4 to 90+ years, with concerns ranging from learning disabilities to epilepsy to mild cognitive impairment and dementia. At Stony Brook Medicine the Psychometrist will be involved in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of neuropsychological tests. They will be provided with training in all of these areas, and will also be provided with training in the writing of neuropsychological evaluation reports. As available, they will also be exposed to clinical research. Duties of a Psychometrist will include but is not limited to:The psychometrist will be involved in neuropsychological test administration and scoring.The psychometrist will take part in test interpretation.The psychometrist will draft partial or complete reports as appropriate. QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degreePreliminary experience with, and/or exposure to, psychological or neuropsychological testsBasic mathematical skillsAble to provide structure but also able to build/maintain rapport with patientsBilingual in English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree Special Notes: Resume/CV should be included with the online application.Posting Overview: This position will remain posted until filled or for a maximum of 90 days.
