WE OFFER: 

  • Compensation $$22.50 hourly fixed rate.

As a Payroll Coordinator, you will support payroll operations, EVV processing, and caregiver support to help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. You will work closely with caregivers, payroll, billing, HR, and operational teams to resolve payroll discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and support day-to-day payroll operations.

This is a process-driven role focused on payroll coordination, EVV processing, record maintenance, compliance, and payroll support within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • EVV Processing & Payroll Support Review, reconcile, and process EVV records to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Caregiver Support & Customer Service Assist caregivers with payroll questions, EVV issues, app navigation, scheduling concerns, and payroll-related policies.
  • Payroll Coordination & Documentation: Maintain payroll records, audit trails, payroll adjustments, and supporting documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with payroll, billing, HR, and operational teams to support payroll accuracy and alignment.
  • Problem Resolution & Compliance Research discrepancies, resolve payroll and EVV issues, and support compliance and audit processes.
  • Operational Support: Assist with payroll-related reporting, projects, data accuracy initiatives, and administrative support tasks.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE: 

  • Education: High school diploma 
  • Payroll & Administrative Experience Experience supporting payroll operations, EVV processing, scheduling, audits, administrative coordination, or office support
  • Payroll & Timekeeping Systems Experience using payroll, HRIS, or automated timekeeping systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms.
  • Microsoft 365 & Data Skills Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, with the ability to organize, interpret, and translate data into actionable insights 
  • Data Entry & Systems Proficiency Strong ability to perform high-volume, accurate data entry while navigating multiple systems, including MatrixCare, Outlook, Google Sheets, and Teams 

NICE TO HAVE: 

  • Industry Experience: Experience in healthcare operations, scheduling coordination, caregiver support, or similar service-based environments 
  • Language Skills Bilingual (Fluent English and Spanish) 
  • High-Volume Support Experience: Experience supporting high volume payroll operations, caregiver scheduling, timekeeping audits, payroll discrepancy resolution, and compliance requirements in a fast paced environment.
  • Systems & Authorization Experience Experience with scheduling or healthcare systems (e.g., MatrixCare or similar platforms) and exposure to authorization tracking, utilization management, or service coordination processes.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of payroll compliance, wage and hour regulations, and payroll processing requirements.

  • Attention to Detail & Accuracy Maintain accurate payroll records, documentation, and data entry while ensuring timely processing and compliance.
  • Organization & Reliability: Manage deadlines, follow-up tasks, and multiple priorities with consistency and dependability.
  • Problem Solving: Research discrepancies, identify issues, and implement effective solutions to support payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Adaptability & Teamwork Work collaboratively across departments and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism & Confidentiality Handle sensitive payroll and employee information with discretion and professionalism.
