We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Bilingual (English/Spanish) Onsite Staffing Specialist to join our growing team. The Bilingual (English/Spanish) Onsite Staffing Specialist serves as the primary Abacus representative at our client's facility, combining warehouse operations leadership with exceptional customer service and account management. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily workforce, supporting warehouse operations, and building strong client relationships to ensure operational excellence and complete customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment, communicates effectively in both English and Spanish, and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to both clients and employees. This position requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary onsite contact for our client, building and maintaining a strong professional partnership.
Develop trusted relationships with client leadership by understanding their operational goals and proactively addressing staffing and operational needs.
Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests, resolving concerns, and ensuring service expectations are consistently exceeded.
Conduct regular floor walks and communicate with client leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Partner with the client to anticipate changes in production volume and staffing requirements.
Operations & Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to ensure productivity, quality, attendance, and safety expectations are consistently achieved.
Actively monitor employee performance through daily production floor presence and provide coaching, recognition, and corrective feedback when appropriate.
Conduct daily shift meetings to communicate operational priorities, safety topics, and company updates.
Monitor staffing levels and adjust labor assignments based on operational demands.
Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment while reducing turnover through employee engagement and development.
Support changing business priorities by remaining flexible with scheduling, overtime, weekends, and special projects.
Employee Relations & Recruiting
Conduct new hire orientations, onboarding, and employee check-in processes.
Coach employees to improve performance and attendance while promoting employee retention.
Conduct injury investigations, employee relations investigations, and document findings appropriately.
Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure staffing needs are met and assist with hiring activities when needed.
Maintain open communication with employees while addressing questions and concerns professionally.
Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities
Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports including attendance, productivity, turnover, and performance metrics.
Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite to analyze operational data and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor attendance trends and workforce performance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Assist with inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution as needed.
Maintain accurate employee and operational documentation.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policies, client expectations, OSHA regulations, and all applicable safety standards.
Promote a strong safety culture through daily observations, coaching, and follow-up.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support changing business needs.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of warehouse, distribution, staffing, or onsite supervisory experience.
Previous experience working directly with clients in an onsite, customer service, or account management capacity preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
Previous experience in the light industrial staffing industry is strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and employee development skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts based on business needs.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, onsite position located at our client's distribution facility. The Bilingual (English/Spanish) Onsite Staffing Specialistis expected to maintain a visible presence on the production floor while building strong client relationships and supporting employees. Flexibility is required to accommodate changing production schedules, overtime, weekends, and other operational demands.
