Job Description

First National Bank of America is looking for customer-focused candidates to contact borrowers with past-due mortgage accounts. We provide training for candidates with excellent communication and customer service skills, irrespective of their previous work experience. A successful Mortgage Collector should be goal-oriented and excel in a fast-paced environment. Join our team of dedicated professionals in assisting our customers, where you'll use your exceptional customer service skills to handle a variety of situations.

-Compensation includes an hourly wage plus the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses based on performance.
-Our Lansing location borders East Lansing - perfect for students or locals near by!

Responsibilities:

  • Initiating and receiving incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Establishing repayment schedules
  • Facilitating receipt of payments via ACH and other methods
  • Confirming data on the customer's account
  • Achieving the departmental delinquency goals

Qualification:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information and multitask effectively
  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, or financial services is helpful but not required — we’ll provide full training
