
The NewsChannels on the Central Coast seek a dynamic individual to join our team as a weekday news Bilingual MMJ with weekend sports anchor/co-producing duties. This position is based in the Santa Barbara newsroom. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how he or she can shoot, write, edit, and present compelling content live on-air and for online platforms.
For field work, we're seeking someone who approaches each news story with the passion needed for exceptional storytelling, making sure the viewer gets the best possible information, creating the best product on air or online. You will work with state-of-the-art HD newsgathering equipment and the latest generation of wireless live technology. In the studio, you will produce and anchor weekend sports segments, sharing newscast producing duties with other members of the team. Our coverage area is large and the competition is significant. This is not a position for the weak at heart! A commitment to enterprise journalism and a desire to produce content on multiple platforms under extreme deadline pressure is essential for success in this position.

Pay Range: $37,000-$39,000k. Based on experience.
