Your Mission:

  • Receive, process, ship, and reconcile inventory transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS), Business Central and Service Now ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDP and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and technical servicing of medical equipment to ensure readiness for clinic use.
  • Diagnose equipment issues through functional testing and escalate repair or replacement requirements as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage product rotation activities, including the timely utilization of near-expiry inventory.
  • Conduct biweekly inventory counts and provide timely inventory reports to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Ensure all clinics have the appropriate equipment types based on the number of chairs in operation and reconcile inventory discrepancies as required.
  • Prepare and coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring appropriate carrier selection, packaging, labeling, and documentation based on product and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, shipment exceptions, and distribution errors, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clinic partners to fulfill equipment and product requirements and provide distribution updates.
  • Comply with all applicable SOPs, GDP standards, and regulatory requirements, including lot traceability, expiry management, and controlled substance procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records in Business Central (Dynamics 365) or other warehouse management systems.
  • Complete and maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and compliance documentation to support audit readiness.
  • Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders, resolving quantity, product, or documentation discrepancies with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Provide operational support to Customer Service and clinic teams by addressing distribution-related inquiries and resolving issues efficiently through ServiceNow. Communicate accurate solutions, status updates, and tracking information to customers (clinics) in a timely manner.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and the safe handling of materials and equipment.
  • Safely perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, reaching, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking.
  • Responsible to report any patient safety information as per adverse event reporting requirements and product quality complaints reporting requirements
  • Other duties as required.

What You Bring to the Table:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A technical, electrical, or trades diploma is a strong asset.
  • Completion of, or active progress toward, a certification or training in Good Distribution Practice (GDP), supply chain, or logistics is a strong asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory management operations.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, such as pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or other quality-controlled industries, is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and barcode scanning technology.
  • Experience maintaining accurate inventory records, including product tracking, inventory reconciliation, and documentation management.
  • Experience with Business Central (Dynamics 365), FedEx shipping platforms, or similar distribution and transportation systems is considered an asset.

Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) required to support internal and external stakeholder communications across Canada.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced using databases or inventory management systems to enter, retrieve, and analyze data.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational testing of medical equipment.
  • High attention to detail when managing inventory records, lot numbers, expiry dates, counts, and shipping documentation.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), controlled substance requirements, and other applicable regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve operational issues independently.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives and operational priorities.

Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
