Bilingual HR Generalist
Location: Mebane, NC (On-Site)
Job Purpose
This individual will provide HR consultative, project-based and hands-on support to the business groups in Mebane, NC.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working, bilingual professional with a strong focus on employee relations and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.
Major Accountabilities / Essential Duties
Responsibilities
• Support Workers’ Compensation Administration by filing reports and guiding leaders through WC situations. Ensure timely action and communication regarding safety issues.
• Support Manage the Safety Initiatives across the fulfillment division. Build strong working relationships with facilities and operations management, actively participate in programs, and rally others to participate.
• Consult with the HR Director to provide day-to-day performance management guidance for operations management (coaching, counseling, career development and corrective actions).
• Provide reporting and documents (excel, MS Office, HRIS) as needed.
• Perform administrative work using the organizations HRIS and time keeping platforms.
• Participates in staff meetings as needed; prepares agendas and notes and attends other meetings and seminars.
• Support company rewards and recognition programs and initiatives such as recognition events; luncheons, etc.
• Identify training needs for employees and individual managers in the location. Participate in creating, facilitating, evaluation and monitoring the successful training programs.
• Establish strong working relationships leaders and team members to ensure HR support is aligned with business priorities.
• Responsible for partnering with leadership to develop a culture of positive employee relations and engagement.
• Partner with the HR Director and operations management on employee issues and/or complaints to ensure all concerns are investigated thoroughly, documented properly, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a fast-paced Human Resources role.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Words and PowerPoint experience. Experience with the Dayforce HRIS platform a plus!
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Physical Demands
• Regularly sit, stand, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use hands or fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard and mouse.
• Light to moderate lifting required.
• Occasionally go up and down step ladders safely while carrying products.
• Specific vision abilities include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data, transcribing information, distinguishing colors, using a laptop and reading.
• Ability to speak and hear clearly to participate in meetings, phone calls, and virtual conferences.
Work Environment
Office Environment in a Warehouse/Production environment.
