Bilingual Collections Specialist (English/Spanish)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote after training and performance review)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $26.00/hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Bilingual Collections Specialist to join a growing financial services team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at customer communication, problem-solving, and account resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing early-stage delinquent accounts, helping customers identify payment solutions, and delivering a positive customer experience while meeting performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding past-due accounts through inbound and outbound calls.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and secure payment commitments while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Resolve delinquent accounts in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct account research and locate updated customer information using approved resources.
• Document customer interactions and account activity accurately within multiple systems.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of telephone-based collections experience
• Experience collecting on auto loans, credit cards, mortgages, or other consumer credit products preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in financial services, lending, automotive finance, or related industries.
• Experience managing high-volume call environments.

Training & Work Schedule

• Comprehensive training program combining classroom instruction and hands-on learning
• Approximately one month of training, including a nesting period
• Training schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Hybrid work schedule available following successful completion of training and performance review

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
