Job Description

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Dependable, reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Ability to display a positive disposition at all times.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Competency with business software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • General knowledge of computers and data entry.
  • Ability to understand and administer the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Program rules and regulations.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the Program operations, procedures and updates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand and communicate the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Program rules and regulations
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking skills required

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Two to four (2-4) years’ experience in a Call Center/Customer Service environment required; previous lead experience preferred.
  • Experience in successful conflict resolution preferred.
