About the team
You’ll join the IPF Digital commercial team, helping us connect with prospective customers and business partners across our international markets.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and local market teams to identify opportunities, build meaningful relationships and support the growth of our financial products and services.
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for potential customers and partners. Your focus will be on generating and qualifying leads, understanding their needs and creating strong opportunities for the wider sales team.
Here’s how you’ll put your skills into action:
Lead generation: Identify and research potential customers through inbound enquiries, outbound prospecting, digital channels and other lead-generation activities.
Customer engagement: Contact prospective customers by phone, email and other communication channels, clearly explaining relevant products and services and creating a positive first impression.
Lead qualification: Understand customer needs, assess suitability and qualify leads according to agreed criteria before passing relevant opportunities to the Sales or Account Management team.
Relationship building: Develop professional and trusted relationships with prospective customers, responding to questions and ensuring a smooth transition through the sales process.
CRM management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, lead status, follow-up actions and sales activity in the CRM system.
Sales performance: Work towards individual and team targets, monitor activity and conversion metrics, and consistently follow up on sales opportunities.
Collaboration: Share customer feedback and market insights with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to help improve campaigns, customer journeys and commercial results.
Continuous improvement: Test different approaches, learn from results and contribute ideas that improve lead generation, outreach quality and the overall customer experience.
We also know that experience counts – and we believe that the following can support your success:
Previous experience in sales development, lead generation, telesales, customer service, account management or another customer-facing role is an advantage.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with different audiences.
A customer-focused and target-driven approach, with the resilience and motivation to manage regular outreach and follow-up activity.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage a pipeline, prioritise tasks and maintain accurate CRM data.
Good computer skills and confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Experience with sales engagement tools is an advantage.
Strong spoken and written English.
Experience in financial services, fintech, e-commerce or another regulated industry is helpful but not essential.

A competitive salary and performance-related incentives, depending on your skills and experience.

Our hiring approach
As part of our skills-first recruitment process, you may be asked to complete a practical work challenge. This gives you a chance to showcase your communication skills, commercial thinking and approach to customer engagement – beyond what’s on a CV.
In the next steps, we’ll focus on getting to know you better through conversations around culture fit and soft skills, to ensure we’re a great match for each other.
Here’s how our team describes our culture
