Job Overview:

Level Up Talent Solutions is seeking a BigQuery Specialist to support data management, querying, and analytics operations across large datasets.

This role focuses on leveraging Google BigQuery to structure, query, and optimize data for reporting and business intelligence purposes. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise and experience working within cloud-based data environments.

You will play a key role in ensuring data is accurate, well-structured, and accessible for analytics, reporting, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries in Google BigQuery

• 
  Build and maintain scalable datasets and data structures for analytics use

• 
  Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes

• 
  Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems

• 
  Improve query performance and optimize large dataset processing

• 
  Collaborate with BI, analytics, and operations teams on data requirements

• 
  Assist in troubleshooting data issues and inconsistencies

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

• 
  Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery

• 
  Advanced SQL proficiency (query optimization and data manipulation)

• 
  Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud data warehouses

• 
  Solid understanding of data modeling and relational data structures

• 
  Experience supporting analytics or business intelligence teams

• 
  Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Nice to Have:

• 
  Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau)

• 
  Familiarity with Python or data scripting for automation

• 
  Understanding of ETL pipelines and data engineering concepts

• 
  Experience working in cloud ecosystems (Google Cloud Platform preferred)

  Background in analytics engineering or data engineering roles
