Could you be the full-time Bid Technical Manager in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a vital role in managing the technical scope of bids, ensuring the delivery of accurate and competitive proposals aligned with our standard solutions and commercial strategies. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with internal teams across the business (such as Solutions Teams, Project Engineering teams, Sourcing, and Installation), coordinate with external stakeholders like partners and vendors, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of technical documentation, compliance analysis, and stakeholder coordination, but also support the bid manager during customer negotiations and ensure a smooth handover to the Project Engineering Manager in case of contract award.
We’ll look to you for:
Providing the Bid Manager with accurate estimates of engineering efforts needed for bid preparation
Negotiating with the Project Engineering Director for resource allocation
Analyzing customer specifications and identifying gaps with standard solutions
Building system architecture and coordinating technical stakeholders
Preparing and leading Technical Design Reviews
Ensuring consistency and competitiveness in engineering quotations and risk evaluations

Degree in Engineering (any discipline)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the signalling industry
At least 5 years of experience in signalling design
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Experience in establishing technical solutions and architecture for Mainline and Urban Tenders
Proficiency in reviewing documentation and challenging technical choices
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Fluency in English
