About the role

In the Welfare Sweden team we provide Lifecare software solutions and related services for Swedish municipalities within social services/family care, elderly care, disability care and municipal health care. Our team consists of professionals in sales, bid management, product management, consulting, implementation and customer success, and we deliver market-leading digital support for municipal welfare operations through close collaboration with customers and internal experts.

We are now looking for a Bid Manager to our Welfare Sweden team to focus on public procurements, tenders and proposal work for Lifecare in the Swedish municipal sector. Your daily work consists of leading and coordinating bid processes, analysing procurement requirements, creating high-quality tender responses, securing input from subject matter experts, managing deadlines and ensuring that our proposals are clear, compliant and competitive. You'll work in close collaboration with sales managers, legal, product specialists, solution consultants, security experts, delivery teams and other key stakeholders across Tieto Caretech.

In this role you will

  • Lead and coordinate tender and bid processes for Lifecare opportunities in the Swedish municipal welfare market.
  • Analyse procurement documents, requirements and evaluation models to ensure compliant and competitive responses.
  • Drive the bid timeline, coordinate contributors and secure input from sales, product, legal, security, delivery and consulting teams.
  • Write, structure and quality assure proposal content, including descriptions of functionality, implementation, support, security, compliance and customer value.
  • Contribute to continuously improving our bid material, reusable content, ways of working and understanding of the Swedish public procurement market.

We are looking for someone with

  • Experience from bid management, proposal management, public procurement, tender coordination or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong ability to understand complex requirements and turn them into clear, structured and customer-oriented responses.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • A structured way of working, with the ability to manage deadlines, stakeholders and several parallel activities.
  • Experience in digital solutions that support municipal welfare area (social care/elderly care/disability care and municipal healthcare).

It would be beneficial if you also

  • Have experience from software, SaaS, IT solutions or business-critical systems for the public sector.
  • Have knowledge of Swedish public procurement, LOU, GDPR, information security and the municipal welfare processes.
  • Are familiar with social services/family care, elderly care, disability care, municipal healthcare
  • Are familiar with the Lifecare portfolio from the municipal side

AI knowledge requirement

AI literacy is expected for this role. You will be comfortable using approved AI tools to improve quality and productivity in everyday work (e.g., drafting, summarising, analysing, and automating routine tasks). You can write clear prompts/instructions, critically evaluate and validate AI outputs, and apply sound judgement when results are incomplete, biased, or incorrect. You understand and follow company policies and applicable legal/regulatory requirements for confidentiality, privacy, security, and responsible AI use (including not sharing sensitive data in unapproved tools).
