Customer facing staff responsible for winning business (HV substations). At this level operate with some autonomy but are covered by well-defined Commercial policies or review of end results. The job demands strong contractual terms and conditions knowledge, capacity to lead interdisciplinary team and technical expertise.
o Responsible for all aspects of the proposal management, including proposal development, risk management and mitigation, specification compliance, scope development, costing and calculation of selling price through the creation of the EAS (estimate analysis sheet), coordination between all Product Lines involved and external suppliers and subcontractors.
o Provide leadership during the deal review process to ensure that all technical risk, pricing strategies and complete solution are properly incorporated in the development of the scope, cost and proposal wording.
o Collaboration with the Region Sales and Account Managers team to develop commercial strategies and solutions that meet customer requirements as well as meet or exceed business goals.
o Define target costs and negotiate with internal PLs and External suppliers.
o Drive the review of the risk elements presented in the technical offers and provide mitigation with the support of other areas on deal strategy, schedule risks, equipment availability, Advance Order / Release, costing, performance and other identified risks.
o Support discussions on strategic opportunities and ensure strategic business alignment.
o Align strategic support to Product Line and negotiation with partners for civil works and erection scope.
o Assemble and recognize Market needs in terms of technical solution.
o Lead the technical discussion with customers in tender negotiation stage.
o These sales jobs will mainly be individual contributors.

Qualifications/Requirements
o Bachelor Engineering degree (Electrical highly preferred) from an accredited university or college.
o At least 5 years of experience in tendering for T&D / EBOP / Electrical Substation Turnkey projects.
o Strong technical and commercial background in T&D / EBoP Power Generation and industrial market is preferred.
o Ability to work in a matrix and cross functional environment.
o Able to communicate effectively at all business levels and with support areas.
o Deeply knowledge of T&D products, processes, and organizational structure is preferred.
o Strong external focus, with ability to assess impact of price and performance decisions on customers, market, and investors.
o Strong oral and written communication skills.
o Strong reluctance to work under pressure and time constraint.
o English and Spanish are mandatories.
