Job Title: Bid Manager

Location: London/Birmingham/Manchester

As the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end bid and proposal process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, commercially robust, and customer-focused submissions that support Linxon’s growth objectives.

You will act as the central point of coordination across commercial, engineering, operational, and functional teams, working closely with key stakeholders to drive the successful development, governance, review, and submission of competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

As the Bid Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Lead the bid and proposal process from receipt of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) through to submission, contract award, and project handover.

  • Review tender documentation to assess customer requirements, identify risks and opportunities, and determine submission obligations.

  • Develop and manage bid plans, submission schedules, compliance matrices, and proposal strategies to ensure the timely delivery of all requirements.

  • Establish and lead cross-functional bid teams, securing the necessary resources, inputs, and commitments from key stakeholders.

  • Coordinate internal reviews and approvals in accordance with governance and delegations of authority.

  • Maintain overall accountability for the quality, accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all tender and proposal submissions.

Experience & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in tender, bid, or proposal management, or a similar commercial role.

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary tender submissions within technical, engineering, infrastructure, industrial, or project-based environments.

  • Experience working within formal governance, approval, and risk management frameworks.

  • A strong understanding of commercial, financial, contractual, and risk management principles.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering successful bids within a competitive marketplace.

  • Professional qualifications in bid management or project management would be advantageous.
