Management of thebidmanagementprocess

  • Liaison with sales,solutionsand sales analytics tomaintaina pipeline ofcurrent and upcoming opportunitiesat stage 1-2with proposaland bidrequirements.Analysis of theopportunitylandscape per geography, solution line or similar to uncover potential opportunities.

  • To ensure that adequatepositioning and presaleswork is carried out onopportunities requiring bid support,identifyingkey customerneedsand positioning win themes within the submitted content.

  • To ensureindividualbidopportunitiesadhere to Strada’s qualification standards,playbookandopportunity compliance milestones.

  • To ensure the Strada solutionsisclearly mapped and communicated against the customer needs, all the time ensuring that Strada (andexternal or partner)compliancestandards aremaintained

  • To present opportunities to senior leadership or partnersfor approval or reviewas needed within Strada’s opportunity pursuit environment.

  • Toidentifyand collatecompany-wideand externalcontentpertinent to winning opportunities, and to extend this to sales and solutions where possible.

  • To act as a proposal managerto own the written document on smaller or more simple opportunities, or where a proposal manager is not available to support.

  • To ensurewin:lossdebriefs are carried out on closedopportunitiestopromote a culture of continuous improvement.

Mentoring,leadershipand management

  • To mentor junior team members (or oversee mentoring) to ensure thatsupport is available as needed(for Senior team members only).

  • Tosupporttheculture of professional development within the team, aligned with Global Bid Team and market best practice standards.

  • To coach the opportunity team onbehavioursand actions through the pre- and post-proposal periods, including presales meetings, presentations,negotiationsand others.

Budget,reportingandimprovement

  • Todevelop individual bid budgets alongside the Manager – Bids & Opportunities toidentifyany cost of capture and to create the equivalent ROI.

  • Tosupport regularreportingacrossStrada sales,solutionand business leadership onOpportunityEffectiveness.

  • To develop and deliver training, both inside the Global Bid Management team and out to external stakeholders.

  • To develop aculture of knowledge recycling, embeddingWin:Loss, competitive and landscape information into both the pre- and post-bid processes.

  • Tosupport and work withina process library describing corebid and opportunityprocessdocumentation.

  • To take part in the wider Sales Operations and Stradabusiness improvement catalogue as needed.

Stakeholder management

  • Tomanage a diverse network of bid contributors including Sales Executives and Solution Architects, as well as legal, finance, IT, OperationsandServicescolleagues and more.

  • To escalatepotential risks and emerging crises withinBidOperationsasrequiredto protect Strada and our Partners.

  • TorepresentStrada externally at Customer and Partner meetings as needed.

  • Toactively engage with a network of Strada (and external) business stakeholders as needed tomonitorthe health and potential of Stradabids

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.

  • 6–8+ years of experience in proposal management, bid strategy, or sales operations, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or team coordination role.

  • Demonstrated success supporting strategic, high-value proposals in a competitive, global environment.

  • Strong communication, writing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear and compelling customer narratives.

  • Experience with proposal automation tools (e.g., Loopio or similar) and CRM/Sales systems.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

  • Data-driven mindset, with experience supporting win/loss analysis and applying insights to improve proposal outcomes.

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English required.
